| VIPer17
- offline converter for high-efficiency, cost-effective
switch mode power supplies
VIPer17 is an innovative high-voltage converter
suitable for very smart, cost-effective power supplies.
It includes both a power section and a controller in
one package. The power section is avalanche rugged and
has a breakdown voltage of 800 V, ensuring robustness
and reliability. The controller, designed with advanced
BCD technology, works with a current mode technique
and is suitable for flyback converters. It runs with
fixed frequency with jittering. Both 60 kHz and 115
kHz versions are available. More

| EMIF06-AUD01F2
- space saving single-chip IPAD audio connector in flip-chip
package
The EMIF06-AUD01F2 is optimized for portable
device audio interfacing. It provides EMI filtering
and ESD protection for 2 differential microphone lines
and 2 headset speaker lines, and includes biasing-circuit
integration in only 4.65 mm². Its excellent stop
band (800 MHz-2480 MHz), attenuation (>-30 dB, thanks
to a 4 x 1.3 nF high density capacitor), and its very
low total harmonic distortion (THD) on microphone lines
(THD < -75 dB) make the EMIF06-AUD01F2 well suited
to high-end, high audio quality mobile phones. By integrating
high-robustness 15 kV air and contact ESD protection
diodes which provide very low clamping voltage down
to 20 V, the EMIF06-AUD01F2 provides a high level of
protection for highly sensitive circuits. More

| STCL1120
- fast and reliable 12 MHz fixed-frequency silicon oscillator
ST is introducing the STCL1xx0 family of
silicon oscillators that can replace crystals and ceramic
resonators in applications that do not require precise
accuracy. Compared to crystals or ceramic resonators,
silicon oscillators offer the advantages of faster start-up,
smaller size and improved immunity to shock, vibration
and electromagnetic interference (EMI). More

power design kits - new tools for high-performance RF
power amplifier designs
New application support kits that help evaluate
the features and performance of ST RF power transistors
in power amplifier designs have been developed. These
kits help reduce customer design cycle time and costs
for wireless applications. They provide useful support
information, such as S-parameter measurements under
different bias conditions, reference boards, spice models,
electrical schematics and BOM lists. More
